Originally done by either Argent or Russ Ballard , when he launched a solo career in the 80's . Steppenwolf did it , as well as Graham Bonnett ( Rainbow) . My favorite version was Uriah Heep , on the 'Abomigog' album . Pete Goalby brought the stars down from the sky on that recording .
